Why does my daughter keep getting fevers?

Every 1 to 2 months my daughter gets a fever. She has no other symptoms. It last a couple of days and then goes away. I have taken her to the doc and he just tells me to let it run its course. What could be causing this?

If this is a baby she can get fevers from teething to diaper rash its just part of being a baby. If she is getting low grade fevers and she is over 4 years old then it could be a cold kids get at least 6 or 7 colds a year.
