If you have a fever, you feel hot to the touch, but you will actually be cold.

To sweat the fever out. If you sweat then the fever is supposed to go away.

What do you mean they put HEAT on your body instead of COLD?

I’ve never heard of that.

I’ve always used a cold cloth on my forehead, and Tylenol to lower the fever.

You will probably feel hot at times and cold at other times, but you must keep the body cool, especially the brain, if one has a really high fever it is crucial or you could have convulsions.

fevers cause the brain to overheat, and if it gets to hot, then you can suffer brain, memory, or nerve damage.

i suggest no hot rags, instead soak in a cool, not cold, bath with a rag covered ice pack.
