ah its called catching a cold
because you are weak… I run out during the cold weather with no sweater, no jacket, nothing. Do I get a cold? No! You are only cold while you run because you think so. Focus your mind elsewhere and you will feel the chills no more.
Contrary to popular belief, catching a cold only occurs more frequently in the winter months because people gather inside crowded spaces more frequently than they do during warmer months. Just being cold alone will not make you sick.
My best guess is that right now your immune system is not up to par. Running can be taxing on the body, but also very rewarding. You must replenish the nutrients you lose when you run- aka, eat right! Perhaps most important- drink lots of water, even if you are not feeling hot, still drink. Take vitamins to keep your bodies defenses well armed. Also, get sleep.
If you keep that up, you should be able to combat most common viruses that can come from wherever. These viruses are often unavoidable unless you decide to become some sort of recluse or live in a plastic bubble. Sickness goes around more frequently during the cold months, so you must fight it with a strong immune system, and running will help!
You have to lose the cotton undershirt and sweatshirt. Cotton absorbs sweat. Your body can’t keep the sweat warm; so you simply get chilled. You have to run in wicking type clothing made of synthetic fibers. Nike, New Balance, Under Armour, etc all make products that don’t absorb sweat. The heat from your body drives the sweat through the weave and is not in contact with your body and you stay warm. Once you’ve run in these type of products, you will never use cotton again.
The sneezing could be the result of running in low humidity conditions and is a mild form of exercise induced asthma.
