fever
Erica P asked:

I have had a high fever for two days now. I have been taking Vicks Dayquil, but it has not really helped much. Is there any other medication more effective than that? What should I do to reduce this fever?

You can alternate ibuprofin (Advil or Motrin) and acetaminophine (Tylenol) and this can be very effective for bringing down a high fever. This is how it works:

They are two different medications that work in a similar way.
Take Advil/Motrin as directed for dose on bottle.
Wait two hours and then take Tylenol as directed on bottle.
Wait 2 hours and take Advil as directed on bottle.
Wait 2 hours and take Tylenol as directed.

Make sure not to exceed the recommended dose for 24 hours and only do this as long as it takes to get your fever under control. Drink plenty of fluids and do no consume any alcohol while taking Tylenol. Good luck.

TYLENOL—no doubt. Read it on the label….acetaminophen for fever and pain. If for some reason you cannot take Tylenol, try Advil, which contains ibuprofen, which will also reduce fever.
BUT—let me advise you to PLEASE see your Dr. or go to an emergency room if you have a fever of 101 or higher for 48hours consistently. That can be a sign of so many things besides a simple stuffy nose. It may turn out that they tell you it’s NOT, but wouldn’t you rather be safe than sorry?
good luck……..

It's this pressure that has a tendency to cause the disorder to begin with, so when you're looking to find the treatment of piles, then the best spot to start would be here.
