flu
Dann asked:

I’m starting to see some of the tell tale signs of the flu. My throat feels a bit raspy and there’s a lot of sick folk at school. How can I fight this flu before it gets me full on?
p.s. I dont wanna use medicine, it just makes u feel comfortable, it doesn’t actually help ur body kick out the flu.
medicine=no runny nose and sleepy sleepy
i want some remedys and ways to get rid of the flu is wat i meant.

I think one way is if you feel the sniffles, cough coming up just start taking motrin or nyquil at night and you’ll be fine.

Take Echinacea and keep your immune system strong by getting proper rest and diet.

Take vitamin C! Get a bottle of vitamin C capsules at walmart, they’re pretty cheap and they will really help a flu or a cold, especially if you take them before it gets really bad. And wash your hands excessively since it’s going around your school.

i would suggest practicing your hygiene. try washing your hands and try to stay away from people who have the flu.

Drink copius amounts of water. ALWAYS. Water helps flush any bugs in your lymphatic system. When you feel the full blow of being sick, stay active. Staying active helps your body drain your lymph nodes. Water and activity. Which is why most americans stay sick, because they rest and feel sorry for themselves.
good luck

Wash your hands often, dont touch any object that others have touched( the phone is a BIG germ spreader) Keep a distance between yourself and anyone with cold/flu symptoms. Keep away from crowds! Get a flu shot! Flu season is usually in Nov to March. Drink lots of orange jc.

Try the old home remedies such as gargling with hot salt water and soaking in a hot bath and eating chicken soup and (most important of all) get plenty of sleep.

Try taking any of the Airborne products. They have one now you can put in your water bottles: Airborne On-the -go.

You can also try to get extra sleep and take vitamin C. I find when I am starting to feel bad and run down, if I catch up on my sleep and take Airborne, it can ward off the cold or flu. I also like to use the antibacterial products on my hands – I like the Bath & Body Works gels and always keep one in my car and at work.
