fever
DD asked:

my 2 yo son is down with fever for about 5 days. We have done ablood test, everything turns out ok. He has nothing serious. But his temperature keeps going up and down. One moment he’s active and looks like he has recovered. Then, his temp will go up again. He is on cedax antibiotics. Is this common or what.

fever
Kry L asked:

Hello all. I am writing a book in which three of my main characters are in a uninhabited area during the winter. The have no shelter, or anything really besides food, water, and sleeping bags. One of them catches a fever. I’ve heard that you should try to keep a person’s temperature down…but they are in the freezing cold. What should they do exactly? I am a bit stuck here. Thanks all.

cold
Caitie123 asked:

I’m fairly certain that the hot water that comes out of the tap/shower/other plumbing is heated through gas, but what causes the water to come out cold? How is the water cooled before it comes out of the tap?
Wouldn’t the temperature of the water lines depend on the season? Like they’d be hotter in summer and colder in winter…how is that maintained at a constant temperature then?

coverotherollingstone asked:

We brought home a new puppy the other day. He is 9 weeks old today. He has not yet been brought outside due to the cold. We would like to start housetraining him outside. How cold is too cold to take him outside? It’s above zero outside, but barely.
