fever
fromthecabbagepatch asked:

My daughter is 2 months old and just got her first set of shots today. I’ve been monitoring her all day for a fever. She hasn’t been fussy or feverish all day. Actually she hasn’t acted as though anything is wrong at all. Are they only at risk for a fever in the first 24 hours?

fever
nicole asked:

I am pregnant and do not want to risk getting the vaccine for yellow fever now. But my husband and I have a trip planned to Dakar to see his family that he has not seen in 6 years. I am not sure what to do because I have not had the yellow fever vaccination, but if we don’t go now I don’t want my husband to have to wait any longer to go. Any advice would be appreciated!

flu
Baby Joel is due 12/22/08 asked:

I am 33 weeks pregnant and my mother has the flu.
I opted not to get a flu shot.

It seems inevitable that I will contract the flu.

Is there any additional risk for me and my baby if I contract the flu?

I don’t have any memories of having the flu as a child, so I don’t really know what it’s like, or how it makes you feel.
Will it be worse for me since I’m pregnant?
