“I Say Fever” – the first video from the Ramona Falls debut album Intuit. Directed by the ridiculously talented Stefan Nadelman, winner of a 2003 Sundance prize for his 22 minute film ‘Terminal Bar’, a prolific animator in the commericial field and the mastermind behind the Menomena Evil Bee video. Ramona Falls is Brent Knopf’s first solo venture, but he has an extensive musical resume as part of trio Menomena (an indie rock band from Portland, OR, that’s snagged plaudits from such tastemakers as Pitchfork Media and the New York Times.) Directed and Animated by Stefan Nadelman Produced by Tourist Pictures www.touristpictures.com

Anyone else getting a kind of Moody Blues vibe off of this?

Does anyone know how he made something like this? Like what he physically has to do, how long it takes, ect? This video is amazing!

Desperately wishing I had something cool enough to say to do this video justice but perhaps just standing in awe is all one can do.

Thank you for adding to the world in a positive way.

By far the most amazing music video I’ve ever seen. It’s refreshing to know good music still exists.

i think alone, just being 2d makes it outstanding and the work put forth to make this is just outstanding.

FatefulTeaCup on 11 April, 2010 at 4:26 am #

rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrah i love it.

BooDoug187 on 12 April, 2010 at 7:35 am #

The animal headed people reminds me a lot of Max Ernst’s “Une Semaine de Bonté” series. I wouldnt be surprised if Stefan Nadelman was inspired by it

LeviMan2001 on 13 April, 2010 at 9:16 am #

I think the 2d ness of this makes it really special. Sort’ve like reading rainbow was back in my small childhood with the moving overlays except super intense and cool.

I love Stefan Nadelman and his animations. Such deep, thought invoking stuff.

Check out Evil Bee if you like this video.

Great video, I can’t wait till the author starts working 3d elements into his work.

3:16 – that moment made my heart beat faster! It’s pretty scary. Amazing.

This is a brilliant song. Better than having rage against the machine for number one.

And hats off to Stefan Nadelman for the video too.
