cold
Sleeping asked:

I know how damaging the sun can be, but what about the cold. I’ve noticed that people who spend lots of time in the cold wind get very “weathered” skin. Anyone know about this? What can be done to stop this damage? Thanks!

yes, just as how extremely hot weather can damage skin, so can extremely cold weather. in the winter it’s best to use a lot of moisturizers to keep the skin from drying out and getting scaly, itching, and whitish.

Across the winter months, your house will be experiencing these pipe-busting temperatures and we'd like you to take measures to avoid needing to call a flood mitigation company to come in and dry your house to stop further damage, or perhaps the growth of mould! If the outside temperature drops below twenty degrees Fahrenheit, water pipes in houses with minimal insulation can simply freeze and break. You must set the thermostat no lower than fifty five degrees nonetheless, maintaining low heat in your house doesn't always make sure that your pipes won't freeze.
