fever
freehabana asked:

Today I took my cat to the vet. The cat had a 104 fever. So the vet gave him an antibiotic shot. How long will this take to break the fever?

Depends whether he has a bacterial infection or not. If it isn’t bacterial this won’t work at all. Feline paratenitis or Feline leukemia can cause fever and won’t be affected by antibiotics. Generally 48-72 hours is average. It can vary greatly depending on how much antibiotics your cat is actually getting, whether they spit any out or not.
