cold
e2fusion asked:

I want to know if I am adjusting the cold and hot water handles right. I am trying to get the right temperature for the warm water.

Is their a simple way to get the exact temperature?

The hot water handle is more screwed in then the cold water handle.

Open both valves all the way. The mixer valve in the washing machine will do the job of mixing them to the right temperature.

hot is hot
cold is cold
warm is inbetween
if your warm is too warm, you could try to give it less hot
if your warm is too cool, you could try to give it less cold, but generally you should open both hot and cold all the way

This is done by the machine. Both faucets should be full open. If the water is not hot enough, try adjusting the temperature setting on the washer to a warmer setting. Don’t forget, the water when you first turn it on has been sitting in the pipes and may be cooler for a few minutes depending on how far away from the water heater it is.
