fever
teamblonde1 asked:

Just got a new dog, he’s been coughing. Took to vet was told upper respiratory infection and been on cough meds and antibiotics for a few days. He also had a fever at the time. His head feels hot. So without having a thermamtor is there a way to know if he still has a fever?

Touching your dog’s head is not a good indication of the animal having a fever. A dog should have a warm head, quite warm to the touch. If your dog is lethargic it is time to call the vet again. An upper respiratory infection is not a good thing in a dog. Keep going with the medications and call the vet. Sick animals may appear to get worse soon after beginning their medication but within a few days (2 or 3) you should see more activity and brighter eyes. This is a good clue the animal is getting better.

These wounds may even hamper their conditions if not treated well punctually. A pro help is always the most effective way to get cured. Taking help and working under the direction of the professionally and technically capable instructors will give a better scope in health and discomfort management.

A minimum obligation for a health instructor would serve the purpose and alongside coaching will give a better scope.
