About 4 days ago we started getting ants coming out in the fridge door’s cold water. So far haven’t noticed any ants in ice. There are no ants in the fridge or in the other water faucets in house. There is a filter for the water coming through the line into the cold water and ice lines. Any clue as to what is going on here? Yes, some of them are still alive and no, there is not a trail of ants leading up to external part where cold water comes out. We called the Maytag (fridge is new Maytag 02 with french doors, cold water and ice in door) repair here and they never heard of it. Any clue to how they are getting into the line???? Thanks for any help you can give.

u’ll have to get outdoor barrier spray to keep them out. put any sweet stuff like honey etc, away into the fridge, make sure its cleaned… usually sauces or honey left out that attracts em inside the house…
