i think it comes from post partum depression that she has come to understand that she has given life, but in a way, she has taken it away. in that respect, she is death. everyting that is given life will one day die. thus, the vision of death petting a childhood doll. very mournful. and yet the human cycle of life continues…

i can see that she said though that this song is about her post depression pardem with her children
i think shes saying through if i had a heart i could love you that she want to lve her children but she cant

i think the meaning of art comes from interpretation not intention so who really knows

For what i interpreted this is a way that people have to treat each other. Our life is merly a tool of many. If I had a Heart i could love, so that is why i can command and kill if necessary. The only way for freedom is to send the children away. “After the night when I wake up
I’ll see what tomorrow brings” maybe it is the depression, the fact that the future isn’t bright… just my feeling

Dog @ 1:33 may well be creepiest dog I have ever seen. This song, this video and entire album is all just brilliant.
