Do flu shots really work?  I have never had one.  I am not sure I want to start now.  The CDC seems to still be actively promoting flu shots for all; but I keep seeing more articles like this one http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/08/080829091323.htm

I am beginning to wonder how much the drug companies promote this just for the sake of selling more vaccines.  I am interested in other thoughts.
