I like to my 2 year old male Boxer ice cold water when he’s running around in my backyard. But does it make a differnce if its regualr tap water or i put ice cubes in his water bowl for colder water??

dogs can tell the difference.. yes.. however it doesnt matter as long as the water is fresh and clean and he drinks it.

If adding a few ice cubes encourages drinking, then add a few.. expecially when its hot outside.

Regular water from the hose is fine to fill up his bucket. Just make sure it is not hot water you are putting in there.

You’re kidding right? of course they are sensitive to temperatures. ice cold water is harder to digest than just cold (or room temp) tap water (which is fine even in very hot weather).

Yes they can tell the difference. But do not give him ice water if her has been running around the back yard. You are not suppose to drink ice-cold beverages if overheated, same for dogs too. Just cool water. Give ice cubes as a treat, but only when indoors or when calm, not overheated.
