Can adults get seizures from high fevers?

Hi, I’m writing a story and am looking to find out if adults can suffer a seizure from a high fever, associated with pneumonia? Thanks.

I’ve only heard of infants. My baby sister did when she was about a year old.

Having seizures my whole life, I would say no. Seizures are caused by the brain disfunctioning and that has nothing to do with fever.
