fever
I’ve had a fever since Thursday night (I could tell by the chills) and when I went to the doctors on Friday I had 102.1. It’s now Monday 3PM, nearly 3 and a half days later, and i still have 99.5 degree temperature, should I go to the doctor?

I heard long term fevers can cause problems other than just the discomfort.

When you start hearing voices. Always a good guide.

Yes, you should call or go to the doctor. Long term fevers can result in things like.. scarlet fever.

99.5 does not constitute another visit to the doctor. That isn’t even considered a low grade fever. 100 and up is considered a fever. Sounds like you are getting better to me.

I would say you should definitely go now it has gotten better but not all the way. I would say you should go if you don’t feel well at all if you are feeling better since when you first had a fever then wait and see if it gets worse unless you really feel the need to go to the doctors office.

You should go to THE HOSPITAL at 102.5.
Below that, try Tylenol and ice packs on your neck, wrists, and elbows.

A high fever left untreated, and especially over 103, may cause permanent brain damage; this can happen is less than an hour.
