I usually get a fever blister once or twice a year and i hate them soooo much. But about 4 or 5 weeks ago I got two of them. They went away and were gone for a day them I got another one. The same thing happened again 2 more times. I have had at least one on my lip for about 5 weeks now!!! How do i get rid of them??

I had the flu 2 weeks ago(with a fever peaking only at mid-102), and was fine for a week but I started having a mild fever and horrible headaches 4 days ago and it still hasn’t stopped. The headaches are the kind that THROB when you go to get up or lay back down.There are no other symptoms besides a mild fever and headaches, so I’m sure it’s not a cold. Is this normal?

For the last 7 months or so I have gotten a fever on the day I start my period or a few days before or after my period. Is this Normal, and if its not normal, does anyone know what the cause could be? I feel all achy and cold while I have the fever, but I guess thats just symptoms of the fever. I don’t have health insurance so I don’t want to go to the doctor unless I really need to. Thanks for your help!

I have had a fever of around 99 – 100 degree’s for about 2-3 years now. I have always heard that a fever means infection wouldn’t I be deathly ill by now if that was the case?

She has an eye infection and ear infection. She started taking Augmentin (basically Amoxicillin) on Monday night. She’s had two full days of antibiotics. She is still running a fever (around 101 or 102, breaks and comes back throughout the day.) She is one year old. Does this mean the antibiotic isn’t working? Or is it normal for a fever to linger for a few days after antibiotics are introduced?
